Welcome Jed.
Jed has agreed to become our new permanent bass player, and he is a great rock bass player. Basically he kicks ass and I'm very excited about progressing within the band with him. He's been playing a lot of Rush and even plays the pedals. I reckon he is definately going to bring a lot to the party and am truly looking forward to working with him and (of course), Luke and Jon in the future. We're already talking about writing our own material, and it will definately have the full on "escher power" that we bring to all our songs. Looks like we might well be playing at next years' Glastonbugdet festival, and the organisers are looking to promote a third stage at the event as well. Bring it on. Mine and the other Escher lads' thanks go to Dave Foley who has stepped up to the mark and played the bass for us over the last umpteen months. Without him we would have been snookered. We've all loved having his company on stage, and I'd be more than happy to share a stage with him anytime.... Thanks Dave. We play what looks like it might well be our last gig with him tomorrow. 13th Oct, at the Looking Glass in Leicester. Quite wierd but the last time we played there was our last gig with Malc our previous long time and original bass player. Hopefully not an omen for when we hit that stage with Jed. Later Dudes.

Been a while.
I lost my password so havn't updated anything for a long time. Well a lot has happened with Escher Rocks. Malc, our bass player called time out to spend more time with his familly so we've had a friend pl;aying with us, Mr dave (Axel) Foley. We've been very busy busy on the gig front and in the last couple of weeks we opened the Rotary club festival in Market Harborough in conjunction with Harborough FM to a pretty sizeable audience. We got a good response and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Last night we played at the Rutland Chapter HOG rally in support of the Almaboobies. A great night, we were made to feel very welcome and we all left on a high. Hopefully we'll get to entertain the lads and lasses again soon. Thanks to Almaboobies for giving us use of both their PA and sound man. I thought their sets were great, and hope to work with them again sometime. The kit has changed about 7 times since I last posted any photos, but I'll try and get some together. Cheers, Stef.

New songs
Looks like we're going to stick another 5 or 6 new songs in the set for the next gig at the Looking Glass, Leicester on 6th October. Suppose I better go and learn them then.
